We handle students of all ages and levels, from preschool through to high school as well as adult lessons. We also assist in test preparation – SAT, LSAT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL, IGSCE. And full time home schooling as well.

What We’re Not Looking For

  • Applicants looking for a short-term gig. Building a working relationship with the client(s) we assign you requires a long-term commitment, as you will become an integral part of our team.
  • Applicants who are not self-motivated and self-taught. Although we will provide all the necessary training resources to get started, we expect you to proactively seek out the details to technical questions and learn as much as possible about the job we assign you.
  • Applicants who are not open to constructive feedback. Since all communication happens through phone or written communication, it is essential that you remain open to feedback and not take any corrections personally.

 

 

Job Description

Your main job as a tuition coordinator is to help us to receive, manage, and close tuition assignments. You do not have to source for new clients, but handle any incoming tutor requests through our website or phone calls.

 

Your duties will include:

 

Call and liaise with parents to find out their requirements.

Liaise directly with tutors from our database, such as shortlisting and matching the right tutor to our client.

Provide administrative support (following up on payment status) & customer service (when parent or tutor needs any assistance)

 

 

What Else You Need to Know

The Excellent Home Classes team is made up of self-motivated individuals who communicate with each other primarily through whatsapp, email and zoom.

Minimum tech requirements for your remote office are 1) an excellent internet connection, and 2) a reliable computer.

All persons are responsible for tracking their time, sending in daily, weekly and monthly report as needed.

Excellent Home Classes roles start out as part-time, but have the potential to become full-time once mastery has been achieved. All positions have a 30-day trial period during which time your output will be evaluated against your effort.

We accept application submissions on a year-round basis so that we always have a database to draw from when we need to fill a position. If you apply and we don’t have a role for you immediately, please stay open to joining us at a later time, as we regularly review our standby list!

 

 

Working Environment

  • You are free to work from anywhere
  • You are expected to use your own desktop or laptop for the process
  • You are required to use your own home/mobile phone to speak to the client.
  • Entire process is carried out online, from searching of tutors to sending of SMS
  • You are required to undergo training to manage different types of clients.

 

 

The Recruitment Process

STEP 1

STEP 2

If you are shortlisted you will be asked to complete a second questionnaire or practical interview with tasks designed to assess your skill. This gives you and our team a chance to see if we work well together

 

STEP 3

If we think you might be a good fit for the role, you will be invited for a phone interview. We will then check your references with the two referees you listed on your job application.

 

STEP 4

We will make an offer to the successful applicant to work with us for a one month trial period. If it all goes well, you will be accepted as a member of our team.
