What is Student Depression?

A mood disorder that causes persistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest either for a while or for a longer period of time is known as depression.
Research has shown that, one in three people will experience a major depressive episode at some stage in their lives.
While most cases of depression maybe mild, about one person in ten will have a moderate to severe episode.
Everyone goes through periods of deep sadness and grief.
These feelings usually fade away within few days or weeks, depending on the circumstances.
But profound sadness that lasts more than two weeks and affects your ability to function may be a sign of depression.
Depression is not just a sign of weakness neither can it just be simply snap out.
It has to be dealt with.
